Ok so I want a load of shrooms and am looking for a bit help in getting them, i live out the countryside, loads a fields, forest, cows, sheep etc. Me and my mate went looking bout a year and a half ago and found loads of different mushrooms but sure we hadnt a clue just a rough idea of what they looked like, its now july here and its been raining constantly for the last couple of months with the odd bit of sunshine, so im wondering will i find a few maybe? Could anyone give me good ideas of where to look, where they might grow. I heard they grow on cow shit, but fuck that im not eating shitty shrooms yano ha, Any ideas will be great!! I know its the wrong time of year to be looking, ususally round sept to oct is it? But its just the weather we have been getting got me thinking they might be growing now with the constant heavy rainfall and winter like weather here. Thnaks in advance!!!
check out the feilds, check out woodchips, rotting wood, etc. just look everywhere cause different mushrooms grow on different stuff. get a field guide.
you should find someone who knows what they're doing... sounds like the right environment for mushroom hunting but you really need to be familiar with what you're looking for... don't guess or anything, eating wild mushrooms isn't something you can really afford to be wrong about.
Lol, just wash them off and use soap too if your that worried. In no way, shape or form am i suggesting you identify them yourself, im just pointing you in the right direction from what i have read and gathered here.

You gotta go out at night. Flash lights and trash bags. Pick em off the poop. When you get good at it, you can visit the same poop twice a night. Of course the first few times out, just pick a few and learn to identify them. Ireland is perfect for boomer.
