i don't see why not. a private company can and should be able to hire whoever they want...its on them to deal with the consequence of doing so

absolutely. It will be a circus, for sure. Meanwhile, Stallworth slips under the radar. But I guess all he did was kill a guy.

Personal life and sport have nothing to do with each other.

Vick has every right to play if he's good, no matter what he did. He served his time.

Being an athlete is all he knows to do. Denying him a chance to play for his crimes is unfair. He has served his time and shouldn't be judged on past behavior.

This doesn't only apply to athletes. Anyone, even child molesters, should be given a second chance after they have served their time.

Celebs aren't role models. And if so, its not the celebrities fault.

The same argument came up after the UFC 100/Brock Lesnar fiasco. When kids look up to you, I think that you should set a good example but, as you can see, our society is going to shit anyways. The Lesnar thing was different to me. That was raw emotion after the fight, not a preplanned thing. Vick, great athlete and the team needs him. I think he lost a great deal of respect though.

I tend to agree with the general sentiment.

He did his time. I don't even like probation, fine them, imprison them, or let them get their lives back.

But I still wouldn't mind a public shunning of this guy. I dunno.

yeah, if no teams sign him, that's part of being a thug. I didn't say he should get a second guarantee, i said a second chance.
