What is your favourite flower?

I just found myself gazing out into my garden and considering the reasons I love each different plant out there. Some I love for their beauty, others for their scent, others for their ability to be free and wild. I can't really name a favourite amongst them.
What is yours and why?

 

The River Ganges.

 

cannabis would be the obvious answer, but hops are a close second.

in terms of beauty, i do love poppies, as well as a number of flowers i've seen on cacti. i like wild roses, brugmansia, lotus, and lavendar, too

 

The dandelion...second is poppy. I know they call dandelions weeds, but they are a beautiful flower IMO. Uncontainable!

 

"Samurai Warrior" It's a red iris, my other favorite is the purple bearded iris. They are my favorites because they are easy to plant and hard to kill....and they're pretty.

 

I absolutely adore lilacs and white roses.

Lilacs because purple is one of my favorite colors, and also because I love, love, love the scent of lilacs.

White roses simply because they're so elegant and beautiful looking.

So my perfect bouquet would be made entirely of purple lilacs and white roses. Gorgeous.

 

I love the scent of lilacs, too. We have three huge lilac bushes, and in early spring, they are amazing. They make the air sweet.

I also love the smell of mint.

 

There is no way I can possibly answer this.

I can't choose from thousands. My garden is kind of big.

Today my favorite flower is Ginger. Fucking beautiful. It comes in so many colors too.

Tomorrow will be different.

 

Daisies! And sunflowers and gerberas. They're all such happy looking flowers.

 

my favourite flowers are the ones with heavy perfumes, such as gardenia, jasmine, honeysuckle and wisteria, but my all time "pick" has got to be the rose - i grow about 20 different varieties and am always looking at others to add to my garden...antique varieties are my fave

the history and symbology of the rose, not to mention the fragrance, always strikes a beautiful chord within my soul

Today my favourite flower is Lynz.

 

Orchids.
I love their delicate nature and the smell. Plus, they're just so beautiful.

Dandelions! They are beautiful, medicinal, and grow wherever the fuck they want.

I also like Passion flowers and Hibiscus- I find it hard to believe things so naturally psychedelic can exist.
