theres this lightning bug flying around in my room here.. They fly very soft, you cant hear them.. They dont make much noise in a collision with things either.. and most of all they Light up.. :cheers2:
i love lightning bugs!! they're so pretty. i still remember when i was little, some older kids told me to clap when the lightning bug (in my hands) lit up. gross but it all stayed lit up for a while hahahahaha
I love lightening bugs! I always catch them and let them chill on my hands. When I was younger I'd smash them with wiffle ball bats haha aww
I've always called them fireflies. I seem to remember there being tons when I was a kid, but not so much anymore. Oh, and my dogs try to eat them, its pretty funny.
Yeah. Wiffle-ball bats or badminton rackets. I don't kill them though. I feel too guilty. June bugs are another story though But lightning bugs are the bomb. I think I should just catch a thousand and let them free in my house. Don't think mom would go for that though..
