I like a lot of old school stuff if anything. Diablo II, Starcraft (only if you're a nerd...) Oh yeah, and then there's EMULATORS!
The editor was the best part. New games being made today. Even a active forum for zzt. and I mean a true forum....one that people post in.
Best modern game would be the demo version of Unreal Tournament..thoses servers were packed long after the full version was released. Telefrag *sigh and by best i mean it would be worth booting up a server and playing the demo...them 4 maps going around and around really helps the newer people learn...makes for good gaming. *end of line.
Ahaha I love the contrast between those games Death 2 educational that I remember playing in first grade and 1 I found in with my brother's porn when I was 10 =P I still play all the old DOS games. Jumpman Lives! is one of my favorites probably and I wish I could get One Must Fall 2049 to work on DOSbox =( Also great though: Street Rod and Street Rod 2 (street racing simulator) Detroit (car business simulator) Prince of Persia Supaplex (action-y puzzle game) Police Quest series Leisure Suit Larry series Cosmo series Dangerous Dave and the ultimates: Epic Pinball Wolfenstein 3d The newest computer games I have that I loved: Alien Vs Predator 2 Return to Castle Wolfenstein Beyond Good & Evil I'm pretty damn out of date, I know - but I mostly just play my DS, Wii, and DOS games =P
DOS game?? King's Quest warcraft III: Frozen thrown is a good rts - still lots of people playing custom and ranked games on it defcon from steam is reasonably fun and 10 dollars, not sure if many play anymore
Demigod Supreme Commander Sims 3 Crazy Machines 2 which was called The Incredible Machine in previous years
