Ive never shot a gun, but i would like to.

I want to eventually own a gun for target shooting, but i cant decide between a rifle or a hand gun.

I'm a vegan so i don't hunt, but I would consider hunting for dog food if I owned a dog... but I guess I wouldn't be "vegan" anymore, just a strict vegetarian. I would buy a second gun for that.

I eat almost everything I kill, except coyote(where I live, VA, we have a $50 bounty on them). So if your ever low on money just pick off a few coyotes. I love squirrel and deer and anything else. I have ate coyote before, it was real tuff(i promised to eat everything i kill at least once).

depends on what you intend to have the gun for.. if its target practice/self defense.. then a handgun would obviously make sense.. seeing as its compact and if you felt the need.. could carry it with you without walking around with a gun hanging over your shoulder..

if it would be target shooting/pet food.. a .22 rifle would make more sense

I always tell people if your going to have just one gun than it should be a shotgun. Its great for small game hunting. Ammos cheap, so you can shoot just for fun. And imo its the best home defense weapon.

p.s Joker that chick has no nipples.

Oh ok. From the pic it looks like a colt 1911. BB guns are the shit. You can even shoot them in your house if your a good aim.

lucky. i dont think we have bounties on coyotes in missouri. they are fucking everywhere in the country. there is actually a season for coyote hunting if you dont own land

i luckily own some 80 acres in north-eastern MO

well...legally they are my dad's acreage but he has always hinted that he is going to give me the land someday - and i will probably continue the passing down of it...hopefully the area stays undeveloped. i always welcome friends to the land, though :cheers2:

there is land right down the gravel road for sale. 3 acres with a pretty nice cabin, huge barn and a big tractor. though i think he said he's getting rid of it for 96,000... :S 480,000 with the 100 some acres down the road

I killed a squirrel recently with a 12 gauge.. skinned it then ate it. It tasted somewhat like chicken.

I like taking out my revolvers too, especially the .35 specials. I have a few 3030 rifles too. A couple of 22's and my 12 gauge.
