I posted this in the off topic thread but now I think it's kind of an important thing so I made this Is this video showing the right way to rip and twist? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VimvRHBJTqw So all I would have to do is twirl my hair around and then rip it down the middle? Can someone explain because I'm not %100 sure. If I can't do it this way I guess I'll do the backcombing way. I'm gonna start 'em soon. I've been reading a lot and watching videos. I'm just trying to get as much information as I can so I can feel better knowing that I know the right information. But anyway I just want a little bit more information on the rip and twist method. I read the FAQ and this sounds like the best way to do it.
yup. That's what it looks like. Just make sure your not grabbing the same group of hairs every time or it wont work out to well.
Ok, I know what to do now. But another question. Do I twist all of it? Like do I twist right from my scalp from to the bottom of my hair. Or do I leave a little bit of my hair near the scalp normal so it's tight and look like it's being pulled? It's hard to explain... But I just wanna make sure.
chances are, you can T&R all the way to the scalp and it will loosen up no matter what. If you leave a little bit of room you will prolly have more hair undreaded at the root than if you don't.
Yeah I was thinking that. Thanks man, I'm gonna do it all the way to the top. it'll tighten itself back up with time anyway. And yes ladies don't worry, there will be pics.
