My new dreads

Recently, I got dreadlocks and everything was great. Now my dad, who is really strict and "normal" hates my dreads. I don't live with him but ever sinse I got them he can't say that he loves me. He also wont go out in public with me because he's too embarrased. What should I do?

 

Tell him that your the one that won't go out in public with him because your ashamed of his ignorance.

my dads the same way he hates my dreads so i keep them in a tight bun when im around him, but be strong and let him know that its your hair and this is what you chose. In time he'll get over it, strict dads are just really stubborn. It will be fine..

My father hates them as well. I agree with liz hoever, time heals all wounds, and things can grow on people. Just do what makes you happy and be happy. We cant please everybody.
