who needs to have all the gear on packing list? haha so i leave for my wilderness trip tomorrow and i'm far from being packed...actually, i haven't packed anything yet - and i do not have any of the items i need to go out and buy so i gotta do all this after work - gonna be fun running around tonight ahhaha
i'm a go with the flow kinda guy i'd still get this award even if i was already packed going with a group, i think a total of 10 people. 7 days about 4 hours away from Seattle thats gonna happen and gonna be pretty funny
That sounds really cool, have fun I never make packing lists either, or any other lists for that matter. If I forget something then it probably isn't that important. Good luck with packing!
I start to plan and buy things a month before..I probably make about 5 different lists before it is time to go..I like to have everything mapped and all of my gear ready..
First aid kit, bug repellant... yeah, extra socks... Matches, or zippo...Knife... Of course, appropriate clothing... Granola... Water bottle... Compass, map... What kind of trip is this exactly? Do they allow you to bring things like matches and knives? What do they provide?
I'm already starting a packing list for the Phish halloween fest. I've never gone to a festival or even been on my own for 4 days, so I'm going to make sure I'm prepared, and able to fit everything into a backpack that wont weigh 100 pounds since I'm taking a bus and walking the rest of the way. Don't forget snacks!!! I'm stocking up on veg protein bars, water for until I get there and can buy it, nuts, seeds, and sprouted bread with peanut butter. Oh, and dried fruit-cherries, dragonfruit, etc.
they are providing rain gear, sleeping bag and air mattress, tent, that type of stuff...eating utensils, etc... i pretty much just need to bring the appropriate clothing and i'm bringing my machete - gonna kill some wild animals
