A quick question about my blackberry?

i just got a blackberry like a week ago so i am still kind of learning new things about it. I know when you get a text message my phone will beep , if your on aim and u get an instant message my phone will beep and if i get an email my phones beeps....but i don't have any of the following and every maybe once an hour my phone beeps. i have my email set to a certain tone for when i get a message and that's the tone that beeps on my phone but i don't have any email and i checked for the aim and text message. for someone whose had a blackberry long enough lol can you please help me out with this or tell me what you think it might be so i can shut it off if possible. Its the blackberry tour by the way!

 

Blackberries are for eating or making pies with in my neck of the woods!

On air beep, as in receiving from network..
roam beep..
when phone drops below a few bars it will beep, Check network settings..
