Do you think the NFL is right in giving him a second chance? I really think if anyone picks him up and gives him a chance, it will Dallas.

Nah, Dallas or any Texas team isn't going to give him a chance, I can tell you that now (constant radio talk here over Vic). I think the Vikings will give him a chance. And yes, I do think it is right for the NFL to give him a 2nd chance, he has done his time.

Part of me agrees, but the other part of me thinks he paid he debt to society and the right thing is to give him a platform for animal rights. he can reach a huge sub culture that the humane society can't on it's own.I just don't know what would be for the greater good?
I mean what if Vic was a McDonald's worker, woudl people still think he didn;t deserve a job?

 

Some people say that he did his time so let him play.I say nonsense.What time?-His sentence was what a year or a little more?As I mentioned in the other thread about this,he should have been put away for 50 years then face the firing squad for what he did.The NFL is pathetic.And there are MANY people that feel the same way I do.

 

Parents should teach kids how to choose role models - not the NFL.

That may be so, but punishment is up to the judge, not the NFL.

 

But isn't the point of prison rehabilitation and teachign remorese and to release members to become functioning and tax paying members of society.
Don't get me wrong, I am a huge dog lover and have been a direct victim of dog fighting, but I still think people deserve a second chance.
Look at Kobe....he wasn;t convicted, but everyone pretty much knew he raped that woman and now no one remembers.
