Hey guys, I'm a little worried here so I thought I would ask for some advise. A couple of days ago, I got a few spots on the tip of my penis. They don't hurt or anything. But i've never had any problems like this before. I am sexually active, but I have been with the same partner for about a year now. I have about half a dozen small red bumps on the tip of my penis, they dont hurt or have a head - but they are noticable. They aren't raised much, you can only tell if you brush your fingers across them, but still only very slightly. My first thoughts was just puberty, as I'm 16 years old and it seems imminant. But I'm a little worried it could be a STD or something more serious. That's about as best as I could describe them. I'd post a picture, but im not sure it's allowed. Thanks a bunch -snake
Yeah, you've probably got the same thing as what the kid in the topic above (or below now) has, I don't know exactly what they are, but they're harmless and can appear if you haven't been circumcised, but they usually appear around the rim of the head, you said they're on the tip of it, so I'm not sure if it's exactly the same thing.
Ah right, I pressumed it would be something like that. If it was a STD, I'd have got it much sooner, wouldn't I. Seeing as I've been with the same girl for a year.
I read up on these recently when i was scared I had something (not the same as what you have - turned out harmless) and they're called Pearly Penile Papules (nice alliteration there ) and they're harmless. They commonly appear between ages 15-30 and will be with you for quite a while. Not sure how they're gotten rid of but be happy they ain't an STD
Most of the times it's the effect of not being circumcised, although it's not mandatory but circumcision can make you more cleaner down there.
