The Cure

Has anyone ever heard of The Cure and what are your thoughts about them. In my opinion they are the greatest band ever.

 

Has anyone ever heard of the Cure? In the New Wave world, this is like saying "Has anyone ever heard of the Stones". lol Yeah, they're good. I don't really like Emono wave, though. Robert Smith has a great voice, in my opinion, and the music is fairly emotional and meaningful. 311 has a new(ish) cover out of "Love Song" that's actually pretty good.

Depends greatly on whether you can handle extremely emotional music.

What is everyone's favorite CD by them? I like Pornography and Bloodflowers. Anyone been to a concert? I went to two this summer and it was amazing! What are some bands that are kinda like The Cure? I've yet to find anyone that can compare. lol
