About ten years ago I remember reading a story in Psychology Today about this very subject.

The crux of the story was a five year anonymous survey of 10,000 women. Each month they had to fill out a questionnaire about their sexual conduct.

It was anonymous to protect the integrity of the study, and to encourage truthful reports.

Some of the results that stood out in my mind:

1. 95% READ IT. 95% of them cheated on their mates or spouses.

2. 84% of those that did, wouldn't even tell their best friends about it. They concluded that it was because of the social stigma.

3. Women preferred not to have sex with their partners when fertile. But are respondent to sexual stimulation. Something they don't associate with their mates. Talking about fertile sex. Not crazy sex.

They went on to conclude that women, universally, need two types of men. One that can satisfy their monetary needs (a basic female need for security) and another to satisfy their sexual desires.

But they went on to interpret that women don't really go after a sexual encounter outside of their relationship. But rather, they are slaves to their weakness to a male whom stimulates them sexually.

In other words. If they are specifically stimulated, they throw choice to the wind as their biological drive takes over.

They went on to conjecture that as many as 80% of American children have no real idea who their biological father is.

I always hated that men are considered the bigger cheaters - really, most all studies I've read quote them around the same (usually 50ish%) or that women are more likely to cheat.
Apparently women are far more likely to plan cheating, and men are more likely to cheat when the opportunity falls in their lap. I read an article by Cosmo about how many women cheat before and soon after getting married to "test their love" and see if their husband is the one!

 

I don't know, but lately I've noticed more and more women feeling less bad about the idea. I don't understand why people who cheat get into deep relationships, when they should really be looking for someone who wants an open relationship.

But yeah, most women are cheating whores. Or just whores.

you're deluding yourself, intercourse has one function and that's reproduction, don't you find it funny that most people can't even have sex with each other unless they're under the influence of something? and when in a relationship it usually becomes a chore after a while....mostly

not really i've heard more men talk about having families, settling down than women do. women just usually go along for the ride and the only way to make em stick around is to get em preggers

Well, firstly, you said biologically sex has one function: intercourse.
There are at least five major logical errors with that:
- then why is it pleasurable?
- then why are women's hormones set off even when they aren't ovulating?
- then why DO people have sex for pleasure? Is it because they are part extra terrestrial?
- how did anyone start having sex for pleasure if it was against their biology?
- the point of this thread was to suggest that women are biologically promiscuous!
I don't think you are as sure as you think.

Secondly, you don't seem very smart (no offense) and are jumping to major conclusions, when as you said, you only know the women you know.

lalala if sex was only for reproduction, then the female orgasm would not exist, since anyway in nature the female animal is either raped, or chooses her mate according to signs of fertility, so it's not about pleasure in the animal kingdom.

And even if you are proven correct that sex is only for reproduction.....well that sure as hell ain't the case nowadays, and hasn't been for......I'll estimate 12,000 years or so.

Anyways, to the original question, guess it depends on one's definition of a slut. I think a slut is a girl who has no respect for herself and has sex/gives blowjobs to men because she thinks she owes them something, and gains no satisfaction out of it at all.

Most animals (I'm talking 99% here) don't receive pleasure from sex, or have sex for pleasure - they still find ways to reproduce.
However, there are also examples of animals that like humans, do have sex for pleasure, dolphins, monkeys, tazmanian devils being the first that come to mind.

If sex was solely for reproduction in humans - humans would solely have sex for reproduction, just like the majority of the animal kingdom.
But again, do you not realize that you are both arguing that sex is biologically for reproduction only AND the complete opposite, that girls are biologically wired to slut around for pleasure?

Oh, and I meant their sexual hormones, as typically what someone means when they are talking in lay terms about sex and refer to hormones.
And just because you don't understand someone doesn't mean they are high (if anything, it's a better sign that you're high)
