Justin Hayward had an amazing knack for hooks and basic chord progressions which is probably why his penned songs were the band's most successful.

Lesser known songs with outstanding hooks are:
    It's Up To You
    You And Me
    Never Comes The Day
    Simple Game
    Have You Heard 1 & 2
    Gypsy

While I also dig John Lodge's work, his well known "I'm Just A Singer" sounds like it belongs in an early ESPN show intro.

One of my all time favourite bands, been a fan since Days of Future Past first came out. Two of their less known songs are amongst my favourites, The Story in Your Eyes and Send Me No Wine.
