I don't think there could be one unified goal, since we are all individuals. If there was one common goal, it would be to reach the point of pure happiness and contentment, and how to reach that would vary from person to person. My own goal is to make other people happy, because that is what makes me happy. To find what people want from me, and do my best to give it to them. I admt, that kind of thought process is a bit Suzie Homemaker-ish, but I can't always help it. It would sure do me good, to do you good, as the song says.

All we can do is try to make the most of what we are given.
