Babies are a trip

I never thought I would be changing diapers and feeding wriggly giggly babes.

My niece is 9 months old. We are home alone today..
She woke at 11 am and wants everything she isnt supposed to have.. She has an obsession with my lighter and my pipe. she has 7 toys strewn about the room and she doesnt want any of it. she wants my pipe, lighter, remote and my phone. also, if there's beer cans around, forget it.
She stands up now, she crawls super fast, she bangs stuff and she's got the most curious little finger. she is super cute and doesnt cry much, so we're cool.

Oh, and I love her and she gives me the cutest smiles.

 

lol i felt the same way, and now i find myself taking care of my nephew when hes here like like its the most natural thing i can do. never saw myself doing that but it happened. i always thought "how the hell can the mothers tell the difference between the 'im hungry cry', the 'im poopy cry' and the 'im fussy cry'??" but now i can its quite interesting.

I dont have the different cries down. Usually when she cries and her mom is here, I hand her over. Its days like these that refresh my desires to remain child-less. Dont get me wrong, I love her and would take a bullet for her, but I still dont get a hankering for my own child.


Babies are so beautiful when they smile. even cuter when they sleep.

she's so cute when she eats. She just opens her mouth and waits for the spoon..

 

i've had to recognize them because i've spent a lot of time with the little monster (as my sister calls him) but i know what you mean. as soon as she gets back i hand over the babe and say thank god i dont have a child. babies are beautiful always. except when theyre pooping. my nephew makes the most adorable sounds and faces when hes eating. i love 'im! esp. when he falls asleep in my arms.

 

Sometimes that's just funny. My little brother used to get this huge red spot on his forehead when he was pooping because he put a lot of concentration into it apparently. Now when we look at old family albums, we know what he was doing in the pictures with the red spot.

 

hahaha my nephew gets red in his whole face and he contorts. lol its hilarious but he looks so icky then lol

 

My niece makes a poopy face supposedly but I ve never seen it.. My sister can tell..
