Eureka? I should point out, I like weeds, and true blood. was mildly disappointed by the third, fourth, and sixth seasons of the sopranos, and I read comic books.
Agreed. You will LOVE dexter. He has a different mind, like your own. He also embraces violence in order to make the world a better place.
Heros is not good period. Even for the comic book readers. ps. I was a Preacher fan and id fuck Garth Ennis. (but only if he spoke Judge Dredd lines on every thrust)
alright, just making sure some of the shit they have it's just like "how the fuck is that a superpower" and then other people it's like "why the fuck doesn't he just take out the fucking bad guy, it'd be too fucking easy" writers are too stupid to balance their universe, so I had concerns, but I kept being told it was worth watching, but I needed something more credible than the churning masses "lost" is crap and jj abrahms is a retard.
Lost was a good concept. Poor execution from the mid point of the 2nd season. Heros starts out ok...then the primary bad guy gets the power to morf...cue viewer getting confused as to if they are suposed to suspect that the person on screen is the real one or not ...it gets old quick. for sitcoms. Id go with Corner Gas (canadian) and IDeal (UK)
It gets stupider as the series goes on. But the first few seasons were good. It gets really dumb when it gets to season 7, it might as well be written by Pauly Shore.
Dexter is very good. My flatmates were both going on about how great it is and how I should watch it, so I was reluctant given the other shit shows they masturbate over (Lost for example) But then I watched the first episode one day and was hooked.
Dexter is excellent. Get that. Heroes is good, but goes downhill quick, and the end of season 4 was just fucking stupid. May or may not watch more of that. I liked Eureka, but I've only seen the first season.. I'm sure that would either be right up your alley, or you'd really hate it. What did you think of the ending of the Sopranos?
Really, I felt like a lot of what they did with it was intentionally pissing off the fans build up a character just for the purpose of giving them a meaningless death, or keeping annoying characters around. it was irritating, and it made a lot of sense with the way they'd run the rest of it it was like a macro version of chris' ending..
How do we know that tony died? And how was an anti-climax not in keeping with the 'realist' feel of the series? I thought it concluded excellently.
Dexter's a great show. I'd say it's worth it. Right after that show came out a man somewhere in mid Canada killed a person or two in the same fashion as Dexter from the show
Well theres got be more than this if RT is going to get proper tv subforums like UK. It's war I tell you; cold and bloody.
