or delsym is the brand name, some orange flavored shit, anyone else tried this stuff? I did for the first time last night, i have the little dose measuring cups and i took what was left of some delsym that i got for a cough a while back, hoping it would have the effects of dxm, i measured it out, it filled up a 1 fluid oz cup 3 times, so 3 fluid ozs i dosed myself with, it tooka bout two hours to start to feel it, about 4 and i was peaking really hard, i compare it to being severly stoned, everything had a shiny glow around it, when i looked around the scenary seemed to lag a bit, and my body just felt so good and relaxed, as a matter of fact still kinda feelin it now after a good nights sleep. it was enjoyable, this was my second time with dxm, 1st time with polistirex, first time i took a bottle full of "waltussin" store brand dxm only gel caps, i say the polistirex did a way better job, lasted longer and stronger. guess cause the dose was more and it is time released, id liie to try a 5 oz bottle of it next time to see what plateau i could get to. overall im beginning to like dxm, 1st plateua trips could be used to substitute times when im low on money and want some cannabis.
cool. if you've never done DXM with weed you should get on that asap. those two drugs are MADE to be taken together... i can't do anything less than a 3rd plateau dose if i don't have weed, it just doesn't feel right. if you wanna go to the higher, more psychedelic plateaus i suggest you use the other form of DXM... being out in orbit for 12+ hours seems like it would be too taxing. don't get into doing DXM too much... and enjoy it while you can. i overused it pretty bad and not only is that pretty hard on your brain, but the trips just aren't as interesting any more. enjoy it VERY infrequently...
yeah i dont think i'd wanna be on a 4th plateua trip for 12 hours! haha and i def know what you mean about the weed, i smoked a bowl about 2 hours after i took it, and boy did it kick it in nicely.
