I need to acquire a wagon

Because my roommate is probably going to move soon and he has the truck and our neighborhood dumpsters are a few streets and several hills away. I don't want stinky trash stinking up my car, so I decided if I get a wagon, I can take the trash and the dog for a walk at the same time.

 

why not just carry it?

its not like you get regular ice storms of a foot or two of snow in the winter.

sorry, its a pet peeve of mine, my sister uses the "i'm small" defense A LOT.

she's taller than my first gf, who was a full foot shorter than i was at the time, being 4'9"

that didn't stop her from exercising, and being able to carry me (although it was labored, she could do it....it was much easier though if it was piggyback lol)

Yeah...and we DO get some pretty bad ice storms and snow storms when it does get cold, yes it DOES get cold here. I'm pretty tired of this whole, "Texas is hot" bullshit, because we're a damn big state and I live in a place that believes it or not has all 4 seasons. If I wasn't wagging heavy shit all day at work as part of my job, I might be more inclined to get more exercise. But I get a good amount of exercise as it is just working.

i don't mean to offend. but you can definitely take out the trash.

and while you may very well get snow and ice (i don't deny that it occurs) i do find it hard to believe that you get 3 solid months of it, and further find it hard to believe you ever get more than an easily manageable few inches, unless you're at a particularly high elevation.

i mean, last winter we had a foot of snow and slush for a solid two weeks, nobody clearing the sidewalks and barely caring for the streets. i still had to go to class. thought it was barely above 0 degrees i broke a sweat trudging through that shit several times a day. in fact, we had the first snow day here in YEARS it was so bad.

year before that i wasn't in school, i was working. in march we had a record breaking blizzard, while i was on my way to work. it was normally a 10-15 minute drive north up the freeway to the next town. that day it took me over an hour, only to get there and find out we would work for two hours then go home, closing early.


i dont mean to complain, and i don't mean to belittle you or your situation. but the simple fact is people deal with it day in an day out all around the world, sometimes in more severe conditions than you.....and if you wanted to, you could take out the kitty litter

Yes, lots of my shit is lame, but if I was relentlessly pursuing somebody because of their supposed refusal to live up to their human potential I would expect you to step in and ask me to LAY OFF THEM.

its not a matter of living up to human potential, its a matter of doing what needs to be done.

as the person stuck with doing the dishes, cooking and taking out the trash in my appartment (every time any of these things needs to be done) it's a sore spot for me.

i know she isn't refusing to do it. and as far as i know isn't sticking it to other people. i know i'm coming off as preachy and sort of apologizing for it while still making my point.

lol, Yeah, it's all good, but I am the person in my household who does ALL the cleaning, does the dishes, cleans the bathroom, and cooks a lot of nights. I already have my fair share of chores and I'd like to at least keep one from becoming just as tedious as the others.
