I did notice none of the names you mention were there.
It is all a little convoluted, there were subsidiaries, patents owned by this company and that company.
So perhaps this person was complicit in this and that or perhaps not.
The main point I would dispute is just because through a complicated spiders web of connections company A "funded" one side and "funded" the other side.
If it were as simple as that whom ever held the patent for TNT funded any side that used it.
It all gets a tad ridiculous after a while.
