Weren't things going ok when Bush was elected? Doesn't he hold a record for the lowest approval rating in history? People are mad because they thought these problems would vanish over night And maybe about health care reform *laughs*
i know one thing i have yet to see a internet poll where his approval rating was anywhere close to 50% and i see one at least once a week..
His job approval rating? If so...put galup on your favourite list and check that out from time to time.
I can understand your position given the Rasmussen Report; Demographic breakdown: 41 percent of white americans approve of the job he’s doing, while 97 percent of blacks approve and 58 percent of all other ethnicities combined approve." :cheers2: Hotwater
here is cnn's 100 days report card poll . http://reportcard.cnn.com/ has state by state percentages of what grade he received.. the latest yahoo poll, http://post.polls.yahoo.com/quiz/quizresults.php i think 50% is being nice to be honest..
Bush's approval rating was around 51% just before 9/11 (it reads differently on the chart). After 9/11 it shot up to 90% and stayed between 90-80% for several months before dropping. It was up to around 70% with the start of the Iraq war. He left office with an around 35% approval rating.
Oh, he's hurting until they pull something out of the bag, like a contrived swine flu pandemic or another 9/11 type event. Then his approval ratings will skyrocket, just like they did with Bush after 9/11.

The whole swine flu pandemic fiasco is bullshit. That doesn't mean they won't use the media to panic people and make it out to be more than it is (which they're already doing) as a pretext to declare a "national emergency" (aka martial law) and call for mandatory swine flu vaccinations, which they are indeed planning as we speak. The average person falling for this swine flu crap doesn't even realize that the regular flu kills 36,000 every year, according to the CDC's own statistics. It's the weak-minded and naive who are falling for this swine flu fearmongering.
