Bit of an issue.

I don't feel the same as i was before i took acid. I took quite a bit in a month mabey 5-10 hits but yeah its been like 3 weeks since i last tripped and literally every time i start smoking weed, i start tripping again pretty hard with diliated pupils. I'm a bit worried, i mean yeah life is more interesting now pretty much, but i really diddn't want this to be permenant.
Do you guys think it will slowly go away or am i gonnah feel a lol loopey for now on or what?

 

it'll fade. lsd aftereffects can last months. 5-10 in a month isn't a lot, unless you took it 5-10 times in a month. the more you trip, the more long term effects you get. that's why its nice to just do a larger dose, once.

 

Well thats relieving news. Another reason i don't like it this way is time goes alot faster. One things for sure i'm not going to do it again unless i get back to the way i was.
Btw do you think i should smoke weed and trip to get it out of my system, or should i try to not smoke any?
And i don't remember exactly how much i did, i might have gone on that pace for 2 months.

 

you can't "get it out of your system", its just how you get high now, for the foreseeable future. you can take advantage of it or not.

just FYI your cannabis highs will never be the same again. ever. the only thing that may fade is you feeling very different when sober. It faded after like 8 months for me. but other highs are forever potentiated by tripping, its just your mind learning to stretch and work in areas that it wasnt born working in.

the difference between heaven and hell is mind man. you can either sweat this and worry about this or that, or you can enjoy this new thing you have. your call, you decide how this will go down

I say there is no use going back to how you felt before. Before LSD just seems like a strange lost dream to me. Life is real now, life has purpose, and every moment is a beautiful realization.

I guess you can try it once, let the strange feeling subside, and then try to forget the burning question inside you. I mean its your choice to live in the ordinary mundane life. But you take another chance and go deeper, the light will be shed on the extraordinary amazing life that is beneath the vail.

Also i realized something huge while high, how did i let something change me in one night for that long of a period of time,i kinda laughed it off though.

I'm afraid you will probably never be the same again after a large dose LSD trip my friend thats a good thing! As far as smoking goes, like others said it will go with time, but most likely being stoned will always be more psychedelic than it once was, same for most highs except downers i.e. xanax, opiates. Hell man its a gift embrace it! Once the door is fully open it becomes much harder to keep shut...

 

i remember my early tripping years and being so intriged by the qualitative difference in consiousness after lsd. before that i never knew, (or hadnt observed) conciousness can and does fluctuate and shift and feel different at different times throughout our day. its the kind of thing that most people never really talk about. conciousness is fluid. you know, if i sit infront of this computer for too long, when i walk away from it there is a noticable shift in conciousness when i think of before and after having spent time here infront of the screen. the kinds of thoughts we thinks and the depth of our consentration is also going to affect our conciousness. the kinds of food we eat. the kinds of people we talk to. ect. always we are cultivating conciousness, as though it were somthing living.

I find in my post-acid days that I have a much lower tolerance to most drugs. Not opiates though, still the same tolerance there. But weed, E, alcohol I generally need very small amounts to get effects.

Same with everything else though. Activities are more powerful and I'm more present for them, people's looks are more piercing, if I get freaked out about something I get VERY freaked out. Stories have more relevance, colors are brighter and the edges of things are more defined. Basically my entire lens through which I experience the world was wiped clean and my own complications and personality doesn't water down the things I experience as much.

honestly I wouldn't change anything I've done. There are so many new positives along with new negatives. I just feel more like a human and like I have more of the perspective of a child in what I do. Often I feel very lucky when I hear people say "I'd like to experience being a kid again but still having my adult knowledge and experience." Acid tripping and other transcendentalism seems to provide that synergy somewhat, but it's all under your control even if it feels otherwise sometimes.
