Well 10th grade took an 8th of shrooms (my first time taking an 8th), encountered a transparent shadow that moved throughout the outdoor woods and lurked inside the minds & bodies of my friends. That day opened a door which I can peer through to see reality, I am thankful for my experience, but I shit my pants when i realized it. Just curious has anyone experienced anything like this good or evil.
kinda... when i was in grade 9 i took like 5 gs and i looked into my friends eyes and felt thier souls connecting with my soul. it was a magical experiance, but i didnt shit my pants hahaha
i ate 5 grams of field shrooms at a psytrance party under a huge geological formation on the colorado river once. this russian dj named Penta was playing and he had just started his 8 hour set after the locals went on. the music he played was so crazy. i tried to dance on the dancefloor underneath a huge oak shadowed by this rock formation but i would keep feeling people next to me and thered be no one close to me. i got tired and took a rest and the mushrooms started to hit hard. i then saw something truly bizarre. there were these beings that were glowing green except they didnt have an outline and they were rectangular. they had this reddish and yellow light that was pulsing around their bodies and they stretched out their "arms" across from the dancefloor and starting pumping this light into me. i felt so strange and so freaked out that i crawled into a friends tent and curled up in a ball. i didnt go near that fuckin dancefloor until sunrise lol.
havnt seen them but they did talk to me tho, it was a really heavy trip. i split a half oz with my girlfriend. oh wow that was a whacked out trip! lol
Kind of. The first time I took e, I was on 3 pills, they were shitty speedy pills, but none the less. I was still fucked and all my friends were headed to bed, so I did too. As I'm pissing outside my tent I see this black shadowed figure swinging his arms like a windmill and hitting my tent. But I just ignored it and crawled inside haha.
No not really. And I couldn't focus on the object either, I could only see it when I was using my peripheral vision, like looking out of the corner of my eye. It was weird. And try sleeping on e. I took two pills and dropped a third like three hours later and an hour after that was when I tried to go to bed. I got so many short dreams. Like 3 or 4 in an hour. But I wasn't really fully asleep. It was crazy.
there is great fun in hallucinations, it is not a diminishment of fun but an acknowledgement of reality
there is a problem with dismissing a perception from an entheogenic experience as merely a "hallucination". you would first have to make the quite dangerous assertion that our reality, apprehended only within the scope of limited human sensory ability is something more than a hallucination. if you were to expand your normal range of sensory input, and percieve in essence a larger percentage of reality then by comparison what you used to consider reality would be just a hallucination- the result of a shortcoming. when you start dealing with extremely dissociated states of psychedelic trance you are essentially in the same territory as a dream. in a dream your body will exhibit the same nerve response to stimuli as if they were actually happening. to the mind the current reality manifesting under the psychedelic experience is just as 'real' as any experience. those perceptions can have very real and lasting implications for the perciever. they can be extremely positive and helpful or negative (psychosis). when you start to get into the context of indigenous ritual then you are removed from the false assumptions about psychedelics that modern western schools of thought maintain. In the amazon there are hundreds of tribes that use ayahuasca and its admixtures. each tribe works with yaje within their own unique cosmology and belief system that is ingrained into them from birth. from a young age they watch the elders consume ayahuasca and discuss their experiences. then someday they become initiated in the same ritual. this will have very real life changing effects for the initiate because they are connecting to an ancient lineage that affirms their herritage, their cosmology, and the reality of their beliefs. the experiences and perceptions are regarded as something extremely real especially when someone is ill, or needs to derive information or guidance. to see someone near death and then healed by a shaman who works with "spirits" the reality of those powers and entities are not in question. you could call it a "hallucination" but such assertions would be meaningless in light of the complex and tangible effects that it has on that person's reality.
oh --yeah and i didnt have to trip about it---it was there and scary as fuck----i dont like spirits when i trip---especially alone i always feel i should have had a guide or some instruction b4 entering the spirits zone
