Thanks, I'll take it under advisement... Might find it at Smokin' Joe Ayottes.. That's where I typically go to buy beer. They sell a lot of Blue Moon around here... Pretty sure that's actually from Coors Co.
well, its brewed by blue moon brewing company, which is owned by coors. i'm not sure if it always has been or if it was bought be them
"Blue Moon Brewing Company" is simply the name they put on the bottle to trick people into thinking it's a true craft beer. It's always been brewed by Coors as far as I know.
i was drinking whyte & mackay the 13th scotch whiskey i'm now drinking heineken tall boys delicious night of football and boozing i am getting more 'old man' with my drinks
Was drinking strawberry lemonade Powerade at the park, but now I'm home and drinking Dr. Pepper. I'm a wild one tonight.
I thought about drinking some soco but it's the same proof as the capn and I like the taste of this better...
I mix pretty heavy when it's a weak alcohol Who am I kidding... I mix heavy no matter what. And you guys should make out... I have my camera ready
in terms of heavy drinking...i kinda know..... i freaking loved tom colins thinking that that is my old man drink..if you know what that is it's tasty but soft now i find myself drinking vodka/scotch straight on the rocks with a splash of lime for vod and lemon for scotch i need to take up cigars and sweater vests
A pint of Brakspear Bitter. I guess I've lived in London long enough to really appreciate English beer.
what kind of scotch do you like? it's so varied that there are tons of good ones out there.... but i love some oban, isle of jura, auchentoshan, and aberlour with some particular fondness. oh, and maccallan cask strength is wonderful for blends dewars isn't my favorite but a bottle of dewars 12yr is only like 20 bucks at the store here, and it's damn nice for the price i can't really justify spending money on scotch anymore, as much as i love it. but i can't really see mixing it with much of anything except maybe a splash of soda water or an ice cube. but i prefer it neat most often. is the lemon good? i'd be afraid, honestly also, i've never had a tom collins but i've wanted to try one for some time. i am a big fan of gin rickeys though. not very much the same, but another light, refreshing, old man drink made with gin:cheers2:
oddly enough, after posting about finding 9 unopened beers randomly over the course of the year, i just happened to stumble upon another unopened drink this afternoon. it wasn't anything much, like one of those small airplane-sized bottles of liquor that has what...like 1.5oz in it? you know, the single shot bottles. it was sailor jerry's, so it wasn't anything actually good, but the stuff is a little bit on the strongish side and hell, it was free.
