Another wet day yesterday, so I went for a walk in the park. The feeling of wet grass was awesome and there was quite a bit of mud about. I actually forced myself to slow down and "feel" the textures underfoot. Normally I walk fairly quickly and don't really give myself chance to appreciate the barefoot sensations, but yesterday I stopped and felt the soft wet grass and pressed my feet into the mud till it squelched between my toes and I left footprints in it. Felt like a kid again, but it was so cool - both relaxing and exhilarating at the same time. When I got home, I realised that my feet were quite cold because they were so wet, but it felt good just to let them dry off and warm up naturally.

Yea i gotta say barefooting has just been so natural to me. Ive always felt more comfortable that way ever since i was a kid. Everytime i walk along certain surfaces its like a tingly orgasm all up my legs.

  4. Well, yes. I remember early ventures in barefooting, and the sensations were so new and intense that it really was a whole-body experience.
Personally, I might have stopped with "tingly."

  5. And it's 90 degrees and WAY humid here and after a heavy rainstorm and...
What a nice time to go barefoot!
    Everything is smooth, soft, muddy.
    Great surfaces for bare feet.
Then again, they pretty much always are.
It's nice to look outdoors and wonder...how will it all feel barefoot?

when i was young we used to hang out on cape cod and sometimes when a soft drizzle happened on a warm day, it was really nice to walk round barefoot with friends. we knew where to go and what to do while the tourists were holed up in motels reading. and it was really cool, rain or shine, to hitch between orleans and chattam or to ptown totally barefoot...all of us and get in wherever we wanted to hang out in. not to mention hanging on nauset after dark around bonfires drinking on the beach with 20 30 barefoot people. it was nice. all that was sensual

the last new sensation i got from barefooting was quite funny, i stepped into a wire from an electric fence. of course low tension... nothing serious.

Pain for me. Someone stepped on my toes last night (accidentally).
    Hurt like a mofo.

    Yeah, I get that.

  10. In the beginning (somewhere around God), I found it incredibly erotic, because all the sensations were totally new; then, over the years, I found it incredibly sensual. Somewhere in all this human wiring, these a juncture between sensual and sexual (but then there's also a disconnect). Simply put, if walking barefoot didn't feel as awesome as it does, I wouldn't bother. It's never not incredible.

Between sensual and sexual, that probably says it.

take it as is but i heard that in some cultures, the chinese one i was told, from a woman's side showing feet is regarded as a sexual appeal. dont know if this is correct.

  13. A great summer barefoot walk on hot pavement relieved by cool swatches of runny mud and sun-warmed dust and grass. A pedal orgasm!
