i can't do it. i look ridiculous and worst of all i know i do.

now i know lots of people do, but they seem to not care or make it work somehow.

i'd really like to learn how to dance because sometimes music just makes me want to. but i feel so awkward haha

anyway i'm asocial enough it really doesn't make a big difference anyway i guess:cheers2:

which of you like dancing, and who simply generally sits and enjoys the music like me?

I absolutely LOVE dancing. I don't think a day goes by where I don't dance.

My mother enrolled me in dance and gymnastic classes starting at 2 years old. I always loved it. I ended up focusing mainly on ballet as I got older, took 10 years of it. I ate, breathed, slept ballet, it was my passion. I had the chance to go on further, but...

You know, it's probably one of the only things I somewhat regret in life, that I didn't go on to become a professional dancer. However, if I had, I would have never met my husband or had our beautiful children, so...I'm glad things worked out the way they did! And besides, by this age I would have been washed up, a has-been. Prima ballerinas are the young 'uns. ;)

Now I mainly dance-dance, as in, put on some music with a good beat and I'm off. It's one thing I definitely know I'm good at, I've got good rhythm. My hubby loves to watch me dance, especially the the more seductive styles I like to do. ;)

There's dancing, and then - human movement.

Human movement is most common in clubs.

I can't do human movement very well.

I can however Ballroom better than most other hetrosexual males would like me to.

Truth is most people just suck at dancing, and with the music most people listen to, you can see why. There's no proper way to dance to house, I mean it's fun, but there's no class to it. I wish disco never went out.

I suck at dancing, too. Well, I can dance if it's choreographed and practiced, but otherwise, nope. I have no rhythm.

I don't know many white people who can dance except if they took dancing classes.. or it's ballet or something..

I love dancing, and can dance alright I guess, although I'm a little stiff, but that's my typical whiteness.

I took dancing for years when I was younger though, from ballet to jazz to tap dancing to contemporary to salsa.. the only thing I never took was hip-hop because it was just way too fashionable for my taste when it came out.

we'd make good dance partners then. limbs flailing wildly for no rhyme or reason....moving around the floor randomly and awkwardly changing directions....kinda like two tasmanian devils

I'm a great dancer in general.

I'm rather good at salsa though.

I just don't really get a chance to dance much... I'd totally dance to some rock n' roll at a party, but not to the crap people usually play.
