Hey everyone, I am hoping someone here could help me out. This summer I have not been eating so great and I can feel it, it has definitely caught up to me. I would really like to do a simple, good, cleanse and then start eating better again. What is a good one? I'm pretty broke so I really need a good, simple one just to help start the way if you know what I mean. I just feel so gross. Thank you! :) :)

how about you just change your diet and start eating healthy... the cleanse will come by itself..

She's going to have to do that anyway.

The first thing I suggest is a fast. Don't eat for 2 sleeps. This will give your digestive system and liver a chance to clean and detoxify itself. Drinking lemon water and herbal tea during the fast will assist the digestive system during the fast. The next day following the fast you should begin your new, healthier diet. Try starting the day with only fruit and low carb vegetables (I do a spinach-based one because it's an excellent source of glutathione which is important for breaking down toxins in the liver) and going until at least noon without any food from other food groups. I suggest drinking herbal, green, or white tea twice a day. Once about 1-2 hours after lunch and once the same time after dinner. This helps break down everything from the meal that your body is having a hard time processing. I say 1-2 hours because if you drink it too soon you'll lose many of the important nutrients from the meal.

Besides that, exercise is very important. If you can do at least 30 minutes of moderate to intense exercise 5 times a week it will help the detox immensely. You may also consider herbal extracts or tinctures that contain milk thistle, burdock root and dandelion root depending on your budget. Usually a month's worth twice a year is all that's needed.

    Best of luck!

I agree with this. Our bodies cleanse themselves, that's why we have kidneys and a liver. Why stress them with no food?

My way is FASTER and BETTER is why.

Also there's no stress involved. Eating only fruit and vegetables until noon is one of the best things someone can do for their health and it provides a lot of energy. If anything there's less stress.
