    you could try some valerian root. i used to drink it in a tea at night and my dreams got very intense. i did feel a little weird the next day usually and i wouldnt overuse it, but it was cool for a while.

    Check out Artemisia vulgaris, or more commonly referred to as Mugwort. It's a dream potentiator. It's legal all over North America, and it's pretty safe. DON'T USE THIS IF YOU'RE PREGNANT, IT'S VERY POTENT FOR THE LITTLE ONE. You can pick it from the side of the road and dry it out yourself, or just by a pound of it from an online supplier. REALLY easy to smoke too. Not harsh.

    I know it's not an herb. But if you happen to have any Seroquel..that will give you some very easy to remember/strange dreams.

    When it comes to Cannabis I'd suggest copious amounts of high-grade. Not only does it knock you out but it has always made my dreams better.

    Melatonin, valerian and vitamin b-6. Erowid has some interesting reports regarding all of these, but the experience seems highly variable across different individuals. I'd try different combinations of these until you find one that works.

    I was going to suggest mugwort, but someone already did. I'd reccomend it. It's also helped me with lucid dreaming. Great stuff. I use it in tea. Not very delicious, but I just tough through it.

    for me:
    melatonin = bad dreams
    cannabis = no dreams.
    i may try some of this mugwort although the name alone turns me off. sounds like some harry potter shit.

    Haven't experienced with any fancy herbs or anything, but Ketamine makes me have very vivid dreams if I go to sleep just before the effects wear off. Even if I've smoked a lot of herb that day.

    "OILS

    * BERGAMOT: (not the mint kind!) soothes the nerves, gives relaxing sleep.

    * HYACINTH: stops nightmares.

    * JASMINE: helps increase psychic dreams, lifts depression, quiets the nerves; is calming.

    * LAVENDER: relaxing deep sleep.

    * LILAC: recalling past lives.

    * MIMOSA: prophetic dreams; getting to the truth; making decisions.

    HERBS

    * ANGELICA : prophetic dreams and visions.

    * ANISE: use just a little to repel nightmares.

    * BAY LAUREL: inspiration; repels negativity.

    * CEDAR: helps to repel bad dreams.

    * CLOVES: use just a tiny amount because of the strong odor. Retrieving buried memories.

    * HOPS: restful sleep and healing.

    * MARJORAM: relieves depression.

    * MUGWORT: visions and prophetic dreams.

    * MULLEIN: repels bad dreams.

    * ROSEMARY: use just a little as it is very strongly scented. Avoid nightmares and headaches.

    * ST. JOHNS WORT: banishes spirits.

    * VALERIAN: deep rest. Some cats love this herb as much as catnip so keep it out of their reach! "
    I got this from a very informative sight about dreams
    Hope this helps

    And keep a tape recorder right next to your bed so you can tell your dream into it rather than writing it down- I always write mine down but it might be easier for you to remember your dreams if you actually talk about it.

    OMG.. pot used to get me so bad. I would feel like I was awake, even though I was dreaming. Those were scary times =/
    I also did nutmeg before going to sleep, and I thought I had an out-of-body experience.. only it felt real (but i knew it was a dream).
    Hey.. even alcohol does it for me.
