Thing is the Bible and Christianity should never have been part of this conflict. I know that we went in there for oil interests much as Greenspan has acknowledged. And Bush with his executive orders protected private enterprise. This was never about religion it was about a natural resource grab. And I guess we've accomplished that.

But I still find this christian crap as unacceptable.

That's why I spend less time around here. It's like aruging about the Palestinian loss of life...it just doesn't matter to some. Money is the only thing that matters...like health care.

Why is that? Perhaps because you don't treat them with respect?

I think I've had reasonable discussions with both you Odon and Guy, but then I value all responses as reasonable.

If this nation went to war or tried to generate inspiration by focussing on religious fervor then that is criminal. It goes against the very basis of the constitution.

Prince and Blackwater... they are nothing but mercenary thugs that should be illegal on US soil. They should not be allowed to own armed weapons on US soil. It is both a security threat and anti-American. For us to fund their brand of irrational militancy in Iraq is criminal.

For our congress to sit back and let Bush declare executive orders that held them above prosecution or liabity amounted to collusion and worse.

Greenspan (to paraphrase) said America didn't go to Iraq for oil, but it would have been a darn good reason to go.

The oil grab was so effective, only about two oil companies took the Iraqis up on their offer for oil contracts. Should stress: IRAQI contracts.

You tend to lose respect for people when they are continually claiming you are working for "someone." Or they only have four things to say.
I asked him to engage in conversation...I waited patiently, and? Nothing.
You can only try for so long.
I've never seen him have a reasonable conversation with anybody.
I've put him on ignore now, anyway, to stop feeding the troll (which he has definitely come to be.) Enjoy the conversations with him...

If a definitive "truth" exists, can there really be free will?

my own guess is that agencies like mossad et al have been attacking this site for a few years now. basically they want to destroy free speech by bombarding sites like this.

skip just sat back and allowed these people take down his free speech site by sheer volume.

i wonder how much they pay these people to come here? i mean do they get paid piecemeal or are they just unpaid low level fifth columnists who have got the fever in them?

obama's greatest mistake is employing the same types of parasites that gave bush bad advice.
