9th grade, they put me in the same algebra class twice. 10th grade they scheduled choir at the same time as the advanced English class so I had to be in regular English and about stabbed my eyes out from boredom. 11th grade they made me take introduction to theatre, even though I'd been part of the theatre department after school since 9th grade. Then my senior year, they scheduled the theatre class after I got out of school, 7th hour, and they made me go and take Spanish III as a night class for three hours every Monday night. Ugh. I went to school in Texas, so...not all Texas schools are better. By any means.
Oh.. well schooling here really isn't that hard and most of our teachers basically give us our points. Like bonus points and stuff like that. I understand how its work, work, work... Here the cheerleading and sports and dances are always made sure to be included like they are super important. Wow, thats crazy so the easiest thing for you to do was just go to college here.
hell, i miss it now, only 5 years back. hell....5 years...isn't there supposed to be a reunion or something? never heard from anyone. i wouldn't go, anyway. it's weird, i never expected to miss it. people say college is the best time of your life...for me it was highschool.....well, except freshman year. i performed in school similarly to you, matt. in fact, i stayed up all night (AND smoked a bowl) before the SAT and still got a 1330, back when it was on a 1600 scale. not a breathtaking result, except for my D+ average and the sleep deprivation and cannabis..... now, because of screwing around in highschool so much i never had to learn to study or discipline myself. i could get by, graduate, and do well on tests...but i never had to work hard for it. now i'm near academic probation. the classes are harder than in highschool, and i still haven't learned how to play the game such that i can make everyone happy
Ohh.. well when lived in Texas, the school i went to was the shit.. It was like a great school... I miss it.
well, it was all a mix of a million different circumstances that had me end-up going by that choice.. it would be a novel to write although, it's all on here haha spread in hundreds of posts hah!
I think its a 10 year renunion. Well i won't go to my renunion or anything cause this school and the people in it means nothing to me except for some of the teachers.. And my friends but all of them done graduated from one year to like three years older than me, or dropped out.
Just enjoy it...senior year went by sooo fast for me. And as much as I hated the school, it was such a great year. I had so much fun.
