I live on a primarily infantry and artillery base

so why are there black fighter jets swarming like flies in our airspace for the last few days?

why are there convoys of tanks flying down the roads and constant gun fire at night?!

i've asked about new training courses here, that's not the case.....

i've also been encouraged to stock up on canned goods and water

i hope that im just not used to this kind of life and that my intuition is failing me and im just becoming a paranoid conspiracy theorist....

but i dont know man, somethins up

my husband who is a solider, last time i went shopping he called me while i was in town and demanded that i do that....

i did

when i got home i asked why and he said "you never know"

but why all of the sudden, ya know?! why now?

Or maybe their rations suck. (Though I doubt this is the case, modern day rations are hella tasty)

im not sure, because no one seems to know anything or want to tell...i am sure though that over half of our men from this base are currently overseas...i also know that the guys here just finished a "game/drill" called desert ram, but that was in another province......

from what i understand, this base is considered on "down time" with everyone gone, its hard to say whats really going on....i guess i just dont like not knowing and having sudden changes, especially when im still adjusting to living here.

take it for what its worth. the military,government,hell even the postal service here is doing the same thing about food and water.recommending 30 days worth. if i was to give you links to things folks are posting they are being told by higher ups it would send shivers up your spine..

then there is the fact our embassies around the world have reportedly been ordered to stockpile local currency.

im not going to go into other rumors of why but suffice it to say there are about 5 different rumors involving the dates between august 26 and the end of october..

i've had shivers for days without reading those links, those links would provide some sort of feasible understanding of whats goin on though....

there is just an all around sense of.....i dont know...."panic" maybe?! around here, its like the mentality and vibe changed at the drop of a hat....maybe it didnt and im just picking up on it now, i dont know, but i sure as fuck know somethins up...thats all i can say.

 

at least your reasonably safe on a base.. just do what ya can to prepare.

ive been preparing, it would be stupid not to.

one thing i've noticed though, is, when i bought all those cases of water, they were 99cents each plus tax and deposit...

when i went back 2 weeks later, they were 4.99 each plus tax and deposit....

luck is a half of it, the rest we will be relying on skill and instinct...those without it wont have a chance in hell.

im not a person who quickly jumps to conclusions and panics, in fact, im a person who will reluctantly decide on anything even with a fuck load of facts slapped in my face....

i know it sounds crazy, im the first one to say it....but i just sense that something really intense and huge is brewing and not far from surfacing on a universal scale.

i cant explain why or how, but im not gonna ignore it.
