Les Paul Died Today

Just heard.

 

R.I.P bud

 

I actually cried a bit when I found out.

 

He was a classic.

 

He lived a long life and his contribution to music
will not be overlooked nor underestimated


Les Paul died today at the ripe old age of 94

major bummer. it just shows that one era in music is slipping away.

 

That's one less Paul in the world.

one less than we can afford to lose.

 

A legend and an innovator who will leave a permanent mark.

Amazing energy too. As recently as last year, he still had regularly scheduled performances at a jazz club in New York City. He did it only for the love of the music.

 

.. spooky though, cause I was just asked a few days ago if i was interested in getting les paul cause of tonal qualities im looking for..

At least he lived until 94.

 

He definitely lived to a ripe old age.
