I respect his decision but i personally think he went a little too far with it, going extreme and not even wanting to do music anymore. Eventually he did make some more but it didn't seem to ever be non-islam related. I just stopped listening for his new stuff. I liked his hippie days better
God I loove that movie. I was in love with Bud Cort after that movie (a little weird i guess), but then I realized he's very old now still, he's got a sexy voice.
yes he did. That's America for you. The monk guy who sings a song called 'Peace Train' is a terrorist Fav song, I couldn't choose. I fuckin love Cat Stevens
Cat Stevens "The First Cut is the Deepest" I haven't heard much of his work as Yusuf Islam other than his new album Roadsinger, which is actually very good!
i loove cat stevens, went out and got three of his albums one day, mostly because of Harold and Maude. "trouble" always makes me cry.
Yeah, it probably gets me more than it would if it wasn't in Harold and Maude. That's not to say, though, that it isn't also a really sad song ! oh, and when I saw Eddie Vedder whenever it was, he opened with Trouble, and said something like "I'm going to start this show as low as you can go"
