Help? uncomfortably vivid/graphic dream

i had a dream recently that was incredibly vivid, graphic, and horrible, involving a guy throwing up on my head as some kind of fettish and then brutally raping me.
the guy in my dream who was raping me is someone i am actually friends with in real life and i have no idea why he would play such a vicious role in my unconscious.
after the rape scene he followed me everywhere to prove that i couldn't escape from him, humiliating me in front of other friends and even professors at my university.
i have no idea what to make of such a violent dream which came so apparently out of the blue. any thoughts?

 

sounds like you are almost obsessively afraid of being raped

 

rape is all about power. if you dream about being raped by your friend...well do you feel that he or someone else is overpowering you or are you encumbering to him or people's demand in general?
