my dad is a hard man to please, he doesn't have everything, but he just doesn't want things either...he loves fixing things up, so he could always go for a home depot card...but thats no fun, i usually get him cds or take him to baseball games...but i have trumped myself with this idea that i have the one thing my dad and i share is our love for music...we are both passionate about music and in the past few years ive grown to love the stuff he likes ...which is fantastic and gives us more to bond over :sifone: so i got the perfect thing! i wanna take him to see the allman brothers band with widespread panic (a band of my generation kind of ) and one of his...i think he'd love panic too....woot woot this has a lot of potential
That would be awesome! Allman Brothers put on a very good show, I saw them twice. Me and my dad have tried to plan to go to some concerts before, but it never turned out.. we also share love of music, we like the same things.
fuck yeah!! i hope he's down!!! and i havent seen panic in soo long it seems, well a year (that's a long time) i think this will be perfect (if only i could pass him a j...but im not gonna try bring shit with me cuz well, thats what he always lectures me about...keeping shit out of my car) one day though, one day :sifone:
Fail safe is a word that shouldn't be thrown around a lot, but I think this is fail safe. Also, I love ghost-lyrics signature and made it my backround
i love her sig as well, i saved it to my trippy pics folder haha :cheers2: so what do you mean by fail safe? i'm quite confused, but also only running on 3 hrs of sleep for the pst 48 hrs
ooooooooh haha, yeah unless he doesn't want me to spend all that money (tickets, gas etc...) but if we go he said he'd want to ride his motorcycle...and i think it'd be awesome to camp after a show like that...so hopefully you are right!
it was the summer of 86 or the summer of 87.. so they may have actually been born, but you get where im comin from..:cheers2:
ok guys i need advice! my dad is pretty old and he wasn't fond of sitting on the lawn cuz of his legs, so i found an even closer venue that is inside so we could sit...but he seems very hesitant...he keeps saying "save yuor money" --its not like i can buy these tickets and jsut force him to go, i guess i could but idk. we looked at smaller local venues and he seemed really interested in seeing robert trowers, he thinks i'd enjoy it too...should i settle for that, or push for the allman bros/panic show...idk im confused i just really think him and i should shre the experience of the live show, but considering how tight he is on money right now he wants me to be frugal, but i dont see this as wasting my money...i just don't know what to do. any suggestions?
do you honestly have the money? cause If you do then you should just explain to him that it's not that big of a deal and you think that it woudl be a really good idea that's all i got sorry =/
