    The Magic Garden
    The New Zoo Review
    Zoom
Wonderama (the Spanish show Sabido Gigante reminds me of it)

Haven't seen New Zoo Review replayed anywhere. There was someone named Doug on that show and two other hosts.

The original zoom was cool and had a hippy spirit. Most of the kids went barefooted. I think they all wear Nikes on the newer versions. :)

House of Frightenstein was another after-school kid show in the 70s. :)

Great ... 7 years of Spanish and I misspelled Sabado.

Shaggie, the other host was a woman named Emmie Jo. I don't recall the third host. I do know that Doug was the writer of the show.

Anyone remember Livewire on Nickelodean? They used to have guests and youngsters in the audience debate various issues. It was hosted by a young guy with blonde hair.

House of Frightenstein used to have a regular segment where a wolfman was a disc jockey and playing golden oldies. Obviously, a takeoff on Wolfman Jack, but a real wolfman. :)

The Wolfman from House of Frightenstein. He used to play tunes by Sly and the Family Stone and The Rolling Stones while psychedelic images flashed in the background. Hip. :)

TVLand in Canada is showing Frightenstein. Another Canadian channel called Space was running it about a year ago.

Forget about TVLand in the U.S. That channel is one huge erratic neurotic mess.

Thanks. There's a video of the wolfman and others in youtube somewhere. As the wolfman would say, "Dig it!".

The DVD version doesn't do the songs that the Wolfman did in the original episodes due to licensing issues. Things have changed over the decades. :(

But, some of the youtube videos do have the parts with the songs. :)

What about The Great Space Coaster?

I have never seen or anything about that since it went off. Although I did recognize that the puppeteer who did Griddle the Gorilla moved on to perform Hoots the Owl on Sesame Street.

Anyone remember The Hot Fudge Show-it had these muppets that were on crack or something. I came across a video on the internet awhile back and it freaked me out just like when I was 5.

i am old enough that i remember the kid show that had a clown and, the time some kid cussed the clown out, with every foul word in the book, on live nation wide tv here in the u.s.a.
it was so funny! his mother came out on stage with her coat pulled over her head, dragging the kid off stage, with him yelling: "that god damn, mother fucking, shit eating, clown won't give me my prize!"

the fallout from that was something else! the fcc set so many new rules for live tv broadcasts after that event.

i'm quite sure, it was not the 'bozo the clown show' it happen on; then, again, it might have been at that too.
anyone remember what kid show that happen on?
