Anyone like them? Their old music is pretty terrible but they're fun to listen to anyways. If not for a good laugh.
All I've heard was their earlier stuff and definitely wasn't into it... and I used to be a pretty big metal fan too.
Hellhammer is way better than early Celtic Frost. What I've heard from Monotheist was very different and pretty good.
It's hard finding GOOD metal bands. I've yet to fine one that's come out after the year 2000. Most good metal is from the 80's, some 90's. Most of the good stuff comes from overseas too.
Which selection(s) of their old material do you find terrible? Morbid Tales, To Mega Therion and Into the Pandemonium are all classics. I really enjoyed Monotheist, too... metal nowadays is so stale.
