Who would a porn shop rather hire?

what i've seen in sex/porn shops are primarily extremely average looking people (in other words, on the nicer side of ugly, often overweight) and generally female, with a few gay guys as well. as i've only really gone to two different stores of this type (over the course of several years, mind you...so repeated visits but long stretches in between) i can't say this is typical but it's what i've seen.

if i were hiring i wouldn't really take this kind of thing into consideration. the customers generally expect the clerks to be nonjudgmental and matter-of-fact about whatever is being purchased, otherwise they wouldn't work in such a store. the only thing i'd try to avoid would be scary men who look like they eat people...i wouldn't want female customers afraid of being raped just because they want a new vibrator or something

 

i've never seen a female in a porn shop.

the headshop/sex toy stores around here hire really attractive women, but i don't consider those to be porn shops.

 

I have not been in a porn shop in years,but if it's a classy porn shop,they would probaby prefer a woman.

 

I have never seen a headshop\sex shop combination.

we have a lot of sex shops here in reno, and we have a lot of head shops.
