I just put in my 2 Week Notice

Yup.
Was probably a dumb idea, given the economy and so forth and so on. But I had to do it.

Soooo...I'll have a few months off, give or take.

What sort of adventures should I set myself on?

...and is anyone in East PA/NJ aware of good, honest, non-corporate places to work?

i did the same thing around this time last year as well. i quit my job and loved the time off and being able to go to college with nothing else to dread doing afterward. now i have a job that i just started at the beginning of summer. boooooooooo

 

I thought it would only be a few months, it's been over a year now.

Well, I've got enough saved to live happily enough for a decent while - at least until the new year.
If they pay me all the vacation I've accrued and not taken like they're supposed to, I can last longer - but I'm not counting on it.

But regardless, I'm not worried about getting a job - I can find something to make enough for rent if it comes down to brass tacks.
