oh my gaaaawwwd, silverchair is my fuckin favourite band in the world. i've loved them since frogstomp came out back in 95. heh, i was only 10 or 11, then.
I was 14 when frogstomp came out. My best friend bought the album and we used to sing it and play air guitar at night in her room. I havent listened to that album since 1996, but now that you mention it I would love to hear it again. It would be so nostalgic! I think after that I heard maybe one song of the other albums and I didnt like it. I cant say that Im a silverchair fan.
Did that guy ever get over that problem he had? They had to quit playing for a while, right? Because he had some kind of arthritis problem? I can't remember.... it's been a few years, methinks. That made me sad, though. It was the singer, I think.
Yeah Daniel Johns. Yeah he got over the disease he had...i certainly read it in kerrang! at the time. Silverchair are really cool....havent heard anything by them since greatest view came out but Daniel johns was hot, man! peace and love xxxxx
He had anorexia, that's what Ana's Song (open fire) is about. But yes they rock, except I'm not a fan of their newer stuff.
