i dont know if this belongs here, but it's here now. so recently i used veet to get rid of some of my body hair. it worked pretty good but the hair has started to come back. it's pretty small and not very long yet but i cant veet it again since im not getting paid for 2 weeks so i cant buy anymore. i had this nair waxing kit which i had never tried before so i decided to try it out. it worked pretty well and pulled a good amount of hair off of the my leg but it didn't pull all the hair off because i think some of them are still to small. all the small hairs that it left are now red and hurt. some of them have tiny pimple like things too. will this go away? how long will it take? is there anything i can do to make it heal faster?

I figure that the reason we pay so much for professionals to do it is because the DIYs are generally less effective. If you're going to do it I'd recommend the kind you stick in the microwave and a post-wax spray or lotion which should be in the same aisle as your wax. Otherwise, stick a cool washcloth on immediately after.

As it is, you might have ingrown hairs which will go away but swipe them with salicylic acid, not alcohol, to help them along. You can probably 'google' step-by-step instructions to deal with each one individually.

    Man, I don't wax but even shaving's a bitch!
