    But it was ground-breaking when it came out, for it's style. It had that long piece of noise that seemed to build to a crescendo, like "A Day in the Life" did. :hat:

    The intro to the Byrds' 'Eight Miles High' was influenced by John Coltrane, who David Crosby was big into at the time.

    Yeah, "Chimes of Freedom". I was thinking that, and "Feel a Whole Lot Better". Those seem to stand out to me.:coolgleamA:

    Understandably, day in the life was epic in proportion, but 8 miles high was a milestone, nevertheless. If you say anything else, I'll come up with more big words to use,,haha. :toetap05:
