    Hi,
I was wondering what you guy think about amanitas. They are interesting to me, but I've also heard that the negatives can easily outweigh the positives.

    Thanks

as a primary intoxicant, they are not ideal --- taking enough for intersting mental effects often causes unpleasant body effects...

but it has been suggested that as an admixture to other psychedelics, it is well worth exploring...
(see the "isoxazoles" chapter in v mv smith's book _psychedelic chemistry_ or maybe check out james arthur's soma website...)

som people don't like them but some don't prepare them right - also they can be quite variable which helps xplain it
Lots of peple like them a lot - you can read reports at erowid & the lycaeum as well as mentions here & on otha forums - one here said it was very good & like opium - which makes sencse - it has that opium visionary aspect 2 it - I kinda found it like mdma minus the empathy/euphoria - not really lik anything else at all
