Question about measurements

    ok everything i read says to make crack you need 2 parts coke 1 part baking soda and 20 ml of water, but heres the problem i dont know what a part is, like how much is that, a gram a teaspoon, what? Thanx.

    A "part" is what ever unit you want it to be, as long as you are consistent throughout the procedure. I.E 2 grams coke to 1 gram soda Or 2 TONS of coke to one TON of soda.

    The 20 mL of water is confusing, though. A writeup that specifies "parts" shouldn't specify a volume of water like that. The way it is written, it would imply 20 mL of water no matter how much coke and soda is used, which is obviously wrong.

    what is the precipitate, like isn't that sweat or something, how will i know what to collect.

    A precipitate is a solid that settles out of a solution.
