The truth on why YOU deleted the thread? Oh that's right, you didn't delete it a mod did. Cause the person who DID delete it shot me a PM with a warning about posting PORN... Not flaming you. Or do you get special bulletins of when, where, and why things are deleted these days?
Oh dear. Bird had same picture in signature for several week and it not get deleted. TCF spend personal time photoshopping person's face onto picture and it get deleted. Person that sent PM was being what is called "diplomatic". I not get special bulletin, I just use mind to see obvious. Moving on....
Probably. I'll also start running around like a crazy man all high on sugar:willy_nilly: Ride the rainbow. I'm having trouble finding photos, but I really like a lot of the ancient "monk" statues that can be found in holy places in Northumberland in England. They're so peaceful looking. This one looks kind of forlorn:
First Time I Read This, I Thought It Said, "Go Eat Kitties"... Thank Heavens I Took The Time To Read It Again... Cheers Glen.
I love Ilya Repin Barge Haulers on the Volga Sadko in the Underwater Kingdom Ivan the Terrible and His Son Ivan on November 16, 1581. Whoa
I saw this in the Guggenheim two years ago. The original painting is huge! The detailed facial expressions are quite moving, when viewed full size.
Oh damn, you're so lucky ! I think I'd stare at it for hours ! There's something really tragic about it, I love that.
I was definitely very lucky. The place was full of Russian classics that day. Probably 100 that were worthy of a 2 hour stare. I had half a day to spend. The curator did an excellent job of arranging the collection. There was a progression of thought that told an intense story of some of the incredible suffering that the Russian people have gone through - a story not well understood in the West - following a less emotional introduction to the country's early history and culture.
