Do you think there would be any harm getting in a creek with a kinda bad cut on the bottom of your foot? I don't think there's anything to worry about but some people seem to think its a bad idea. I can't walk barefoot because it kinda hurts to talk on it but swimming obviously wouldn't be a problem. Not being able to go barefoot is PISSING ME OFF!

oh, i know the answer to that! my husband went to the creek in july, got bit by a spider, and the creek water gave him a horrible infection. his foot swelled up, even the ankles. was hospitalized for 4 days, got out on his birthday. i go swimming in the creeks all the time in the summer. but if you have a open cut, HELL NO!

depends on where the creek is. the rivers around here all have signs posted that you will become ill if you go near the water; i wouldn't go in there perfectly healthy, let alone with an open wound.

if it's reasonably clean, then i don't really see a problem with it.

but then again, if it's such a bad cut that it hurts when you talk, maybe you should just go to the ER.

Is it a creek near any sort of chemical place? Like....even a field of crops, a lot of people use chemicals and whatnot.
If not, I would say it's safe. I've swam in a creek before with a cut on my foot, but I also cleaned it after I got out, as I did the rest of my body.

well i should think that would rather obvious depend on where the water in the creek had been. also where it's going down stream.
