I for one was not a fan The interesting was beginning but I got so fuckin bored of it after only like 45 minutes, and on top of that the ending sucked cock But we can each have our opinions :cheers2:
Not been a good scifi out for a while, time there was another one. Apart from T4, star trek and transformers LOL I mean something original and that.
It was OK, I think it needed more information. I get that is was supposed to be filmed in a documentary style but I still felt that there was much missing in the way that I wanted to know more about the aliens. I have this feeling, because it was so well set up, that the sequel will be more informative. As a matter of fact here is an article about it. http://popwatch.ew.com/2009/08/17/district-9-sequel-neill-blomkamp/ This movie kind of reminded me of The Office meets Alien Nation.
Ya I thought it was pretty good. I was glad because I liked the original short film. It had more action than I was expecting. A good summer blockbuster movie; I was entertained throughout.
Is it the kind of movie that you have to see stonded(you know kinda of like 2001 a space odyssey.) Or is it just an action film. What i am trying to ask is if i went and saw it would i walk out with a different mind set?
I saw it. It starts out kind of wtf??, and proceeds to develop things that could have been potentially annoying as hell, into a fairly engaging and quite unusual movie. It's worth seeing.
Saw the movie today, a little bit of what I was expecting after seeing the previews but engrossing and different (considering the alien aspect) at the same time. Also the setting in South Africa was a nice backdrop of this film. I loved it! If you like action and a decent story definitely go see this movie.
I saw it stoned, it was awesome. Every 2 seconds i was like "DOOD HOLY SHIT" FYI: Peter Jackson made this film to prepare for the Halo movie.
Causing the masses to empathize with aliens so they can come to earth and assume the position of our lords and masters.
oh shit I should probably fuckin see it asap then isnt the halo movie supposed to start being made next year?
