    Pretty self-explanatory.

Does anybody have blue spruce trees on their lawn? I drove by my childhood home recently and we had these HUGE blue spruce trees on our front lawn. We had like 7 or 8 of them. So anyways, when I drove by a few weeks ago, the people living there now had cut down every single one of them  And to make it worse, they just left all the stumps at like two feet. It looks hideous. Those trees were awesome. Everyone in town loved them. lol

they,re probably gonna remove them later...stumps are easier to remove if you leave a lot of trunk attached

    thats true..

and also let them die a little bit which will make them weaker...

removing stumps is some hard work..

yea it is. I live in the sky now six floors up. Right across the street is the Ottawa river, and there's MANY trees along the shore, but I miss having a lawn with trees on it.

There are over 300 species of trees growing in Calgary. Only 7 of them are native.

    Holy Transplant!

    I personally dislike evergreens.

My mister planted one out front after I told him not to...What a jerk.

We have one in the backyard, which is now the only remaining tree at the homestead.

I remember we used to jump over it when we were young, and now it's at least 30 feet tall. I love blue spruce trees.

Me too. They're really pretty. I use to climb mine all the time when I was young. I could look over the roof of our house.

Well. This afternoon I was on HF's and I was extremely bored. RT's was gone, and looking at all the new posts I realised people from the U.K always use the U.K forum and they seem to really enjoy it and have a good time. Also in the other forums Canadians seem to get ribbed quite a bit. I wondered if there was a Canada forum and when I found it and looked in it I realised how pathetic and unused it was. So I decided to start a bunch of threads about Canadian things to get it pumpin. Canadians should be proud of our great country. So, here we are now! :)
