Movie trailers

    They don't seem to represent movies well at all anymore. It seems to get worse every year.
    Half of the time they show too much and kill the suspense, and half of the time, they don't show anything interesting at all.
    The reason I brought this up was Swing Vote. They made it look like one of those pansy feel good 'dramas', and albeit the happy ending (I suppose) that movie had some fucking nails to it.

    I agree. Too many movie trailers for modern films give away way to much of the plot in an effort to draw audiences in. It annoys the hell out of me. I wish they'd learn something from earlier cinema where they only showed what they had to to grab a viewer's interest.
